Culpepper Frisbee, and secind Col Jesse Leavenworth.The Leavenworth Genealogy says of her, "She was a strong handsome woman who often said if herself that nothing she enjoyed more than giving someone a piece of her mind when they crossed her. when marauding British soldiers found her home alone stripped her home of valuables. She stood by and gave them a piece of her mind, which enraged them so much they even took the silver buckles from her shoes.
